An Unseen Librarian

Chris Rock - if he did know about Jada's illness he crossed the line, but was still just a verbal hit, and it is part of most award shows that the audience get a little toasting - but why didn't anyone come to his rescue/support? Is he a pariah among the film community?

Will Smith - no excuse for what he did, either the slap or the reluctance to leave.

Jada Pinkett-Smith - is she the tricker? Will Smith started laughing at the joke, but we do not see, what made him react like an idiot - sorry but that is what he is, doing what he did. He was not defending anyone - it was a simple retaliation.

Lack of response from the audience and The Academy - except from moving on and letting Will Smith speak and getting a standing ovation - I felt emotionally bad and if it wasn't for the uncertainty about if the situation was staged or not, I would have stopped watching - I could not believe what had happend.

I had just started reading Will Smiths biography, but now the book is in the dumspter - and I do not feel like seeing more movies with Will Smith.
